The Island, Bristol
Time & Motion is a series of encounters with dancers of the South West Dance Theatre Company in Bristol experienting with hanging sculptures and the way forms come alive in conversation with bodies.
Inspired by scientific principles of entanglement and reciprocity the workshops dwell on the performativity of matter and the idea that there are no things, only phenomenas. Bodies and materials are agencies interacting together, creating an entangled in-process-sculpture, ever changing, ever evolving, ever moving.
