A day of collaboration and discussion around Air as a matter and how it can come in relation with other materials and the living entities that are our bodies.
The workshop raises questions relating to the concept of animacy and how to give it form. The performers experimented with a fabric prop, dwelling on the kind of symbiotic relationship that can be established between one’s body, air’s living qualities and the fabric object.
Through their physical movements, the performers give forms to the fabric prop, animating it and as a result being animated by it, establishing a back and forth or discursive relationship.
