Arms Floting Up

2021
Moving Image
Duration : 10.03 minutes

Arms floating up (2021) is a moving image piece exploring the space of air around one’s body and the physiological bound one can form with the empty space that surrounds and exists within them. In the documented performance a textile prop is extending the performer body and materializing the animacy of Air. In a sensual symbiosis state textile prop and performer are reciprocally animated one another, relating a story of breath and air as active matters that hold primal life energy.
Arms floating Up (2021) was exhibited as a spatial installation in the group show Beyond The Frame at The Horse Hospital, London, 2021.
